Baritone Vitali Rozynko’s recent engagements include a staged version of the Johannes Passion with the Nederlandse Reis Opera, Le Directeur/Gendarme in Les Mamelles de Tirésias (Poulenc) with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Ludovic Morlot conducting, a debut with the Dutch National Opera as First Strelitz in Christof Loy’s production of Khovanschina, the role of Lieutenant Horstmayer (Silent Night) with Opera San José, concerts of Beethoven 9, Matthäus Passion, Carmna Burana, and the Verdi Requiem.

Mr. Rozynko has also performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (Madama Butterfly) under Seiji Ozawa, Opera Colorado (Don Giovanni), The Santa Fe Opera (Bello, La Fanciulla del West), L’Opera Royal de Wallonie (Escamillo, Carmen), I Festivale di Due Mondi (The Saint of Bleecker Street) with Richard Hickox and Menotti himself directing, Boston Lyric Opera (Shaunard, La Bohème), L’Orchstre Nationale d’Ile de France (Bernstein Mass), Berkeley Festival (Bach Cantatas), Ives Ensemble (Deceit in “The Triumph of Beauty and Deceipt”), Tanglewood Festival (Le Gendarme, Les Mamelles de Tiresias), The Aldeburgh Festival (Guglielmo, Così fan tutte), Nederlandse Radio Philharmonic (Fidelio, Semyon Kotko, Der König Kandaules), a world premiere with Radio Kamer Orkest (“The Trees of Paradise”), The Jerusalem Symphony (“Lyrische Symphony”, Zemlinsky), Het Nieuw Ensemble (“Owen Wingrave,” Britten) the Symphonie Orkest Vlannderen (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Chelsea Opera (Masetto in Don Giovanni) under the baton of Sir Colin Davis.

Recent engagements include a staged version of Johannes Passion with the Nederlands Reis Opera. Le Directeur/Gendarme Les Mamelles de Tirésias with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Ludovic Morlot, Spencer Coyle Owen Wingrave with Het Nieuw Ensemble, soloist Verdi Requiem, Pizarro (cover) in Fidelio with the Radio Philharmonic, Amsterdam, a world premiere of "The Trees of Paradise" with the Radio Kamer Orkest, as well as a new production of Madama Butterfly with the Nederlandse Reis Opera. Mr. Rozynko made his Dutch National Opera debut singing the role of First Strelitz in a new production of Mussorgsky's Khovanschina in a new production by Christof Loy. He then went on to sing the role of the German officer in the wildly succesful performance of Semyon Kotko at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam conducted by Vladimir Jurowski, as well as a role debut as Lieutenant Horstmayer, as well as performances as the British Major in Kevin Putt's Pulitzer Prize winning opera Silent Night.
